An exploratory hike gone well! We had a really nice time hiking a big loop around Bowmans Island with a full complement of AOC members, including two newbies - - Lauren and Lynne, both accomplished hikers who fit in beautifully with our veterans. We were happy to welcome them into the club.

Trail conditions today were excellent, with the weather in complete cooperation with sunny skies, and cool, dry air.

Eleven of our group stayed to share lunchtime at one of the pavilions by the parking lot - - a wonderful chance to better get to know our new members and to catch up with our friends.
