The sun slept this morning, but we were grateful that there wasn't any rain. We were happy to keep moving to avoid getting chilled.

A terrific group of vets plus one newbie - - Laura - - who hopefully is already becoming a "regular" on our local hikes.

There was plenty of friendly conversation throughout the hike . . . something that warms my heart as I hear the banter behind me.

Sadly, I have to skip next Thursday's hike, but I'll be back on the 30th to do our final Thursday morning hike in 2021. ~ Joyce
