What a perfect day for a hike around Stone Mountain. Fourteen of us hiked around the mountain using the Cherokee Trail and many non-official trails. Charlie led us to many hidden gems including the nature trail, songbird trail, train depot, rock quarry, old grist mill, world's fair carillon tower, as well as the giant carving.
