Another extremely lucky day to schedule Dave's 400th AOC event. It took a bit of rescheduling, but this morning's weather was perfect for the hike. Most of the two hours was in bright sunshine, with cool, dry air; the skies became overcast only during the last half hour. Not a drop of rain until we were all well on our way home.

Congratulations to Dave on reaching this milestone event! 400 is nothing to sneeze at - - and 231 of those hikes have been with me! How happy I am to be able to celebrate this special day with this special man.

After the hike, we had a little celebration of cookies - - a great final touch to a most enjoyable hike.
