Today’s hike offered lots of turtles, fish, and ducks. We met and did introductions in the parking lot proceeding in a counterclockwise direction we hike the outer perimeter of Gold Branch. With a 9 o’clock start time the weather was hot and humid by the end of the hike. The parking lot only had a few cars, giving up the trail to ourselves. Fortunately, no snakes, although I was watching for them. All had a good time. It was a nice way to start the day.
