It was a great morning with sunshine, temperatures in the high 60’s at the start and mid 70’s at the end of the hike. We did introductions at the Parking Lot. Then followed the Yellow Trail until we came to the Orange Trail. We did the Blue Trail Loop and returned to the Orange Trail, did the Orange Trail Loop, and returned to the Yellow Trail. We returned to the parking lot via the Yellow Trail.

We took a spur off the Yellow Trail to see New Manchester Mill Ruins from the east side of Sweetwater Creek. The water level was low, and we were able to walk out into Sweetwater Creek on a rock outcrop to enjoy both the view of the creek and take pictures of it while standing in the creek (see posted pictures).

We celebrated Michael Chan’s 100^th event. Congratulations Michael.

I would like to thank Dianne and Dionne for joining us on their first AOC Hike. Rachel for joining us on her second hike and Christina for her third. Thanks to rest of the group for making them feel welcome.
