What a delightful hike we had today at Vickery Creek! We welcomed a newbie (Kerri) and hiked a big loop around the park for 5.3 very comfortable miles. It's comforting to know that David has a moderate speed from time to time!

It was a very friendly group! Nice to hear all the conversations taking place throughout the hike.

We all admired Steve F.'s new hairdo - - a doubled up braid tied into an intricate bun. Very becoming!

We were impressed with the sections of the trail where the Big Leaf Magnolias dropped their leaves. Nature's litter, for sure!

Loads of people on the trails today! It was such a pleasant day for hiking with the heavy cloud cover and colorful foliage. ~ Joyce
