As I pulled into the parking lot the radio said there is a low front stalled on top of us and now a chance of rain today. Thus, the morning was cloudy with a light mist from time to time, lots of fog, with the temperature in the high 50’s and ending with temperature in the mid 60’s. The granite outcrops were quit slick along with the wet leaves and numerous muddy spots. With all that said we had a good hike with everyone staying on their feet.

The hike proceeded from the Burnt Hickory parking lot up Pigeon Hill to Little Kennesaw than to Kennesaw Mountain and the Visitor Center. After a quick break, we proceeded back via Brumby Trail.
