What started in fog and gray skies ended in bright sun for this week's Thursday morning hike. We had a great group with seasoned vets and one newbie - - Mahsheed. The group kept up a really brisk pace with just a couple of breaks so that we got in 5.8 miles in under two hours. No stragglers today!

Today's race to the top of the warm-up hill was the most competitive ever. Russ called Richard up to the front to join him in a run, but David W. and David V. weren't going to be left behind! It was a running race that ended with David W. being the victor, and Russ/Richard coming in second. It was an exciting competition. ~ Joyce
