It was Valentine's Day, and Gerrilyn was dressed for the day! The group was small, which made for great conversation throughout the hike. Curtis was back hiking with the AOC after a long hiatus due to Covid and injuries. How nice to have him back! Linda was rather new to the club, so it was nice to get to know her better. George and Gerrilyn are regular hikers, so we had a nice mix of old and new.

Unfortunately, Gerrilyn split with the group half-way through the hike because she left her pole behind when we stopped at the bathroom house. She went back for it while the rest of us continued our hike. Gerrilyn took a different route back resulting in her hiking an extra mile! (Gerrilyn's RELIVE video shows her route back.) We all got back to the parking lot at about the same time, so all ended well.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect morning for hiking. This has been such a mild winter so far!
