The weather was cold and sunny. About halfway through the event it warmed up enough to start delayering. We walked the perimeter of the Garden in a counterclockwise direction. We started at the Daffodil Garden, stopped enjoyed both the variety of Daffodils and the scenic views. There is a new Scenic View spot that is even batter the old one. We preceded to the Manor House, Inspiration Gardens, then to Fern Dell, no ferns. Next stop Wildflower Meadow, to early for wildflowers, though the blowing Cherry trees, a quick stop at both the Rose Gardens and Day Lilly Gardens, still to early for both of them. This finished the perimeter. We now headed though the center of the Garden, first looking at the Waterlily Garden, still too early, then to the Tulip Garden, Here we stopped and enjoyed the variety of Tulips. We took several different paths though the Japanese Garden, turned back to the entrance via the Grandchildren’s Sculpture Garden. 270 pictures or 5.12 miles and 2 hours and 23 minutes later we completed the event. Of these it was hard to narrow it down to 89 pictures.

Thanks to Joan for joining us on her first hike, Brenda for joining us on her second hike, and Ellen for joining us on her third hike.

Several of us went to Downtown Ball Ground for lunch where we enjoyed good German cooking at Frankurt Doner and Meats and ice cream at Scooped on Main.
