Lots of sunshine and no rain as we arrived at Neel Gap just as thunderstorms ended. The long range views were stunning as we hiked along the ridgeline going NOBO on the AT. The last wisp of clouds cleared away shortly after arriving at Cowrock Mountain, where we enjoyed lunch and stunning views of Mt. Yonah and other nearby summits. Temperatures continued to warm as we returned to our cars, heralding spring's arrival in the mountains.
