Write Up:

We maintained a 21 minute mile pace throughout the hike, which is about as moderate as David can go. We finished in less than two hours including a long stop while we waited for David to realize he lost his group and to return to find us. We were all hiding behind trees and wondered if he would ever miss us! He finally came looking for us and was greeted by a big "April Fool!s" He admitted to being worried when he had to retrace his steps for almost 10 minutes before finding us. He thoughtthat one of us had gotten hurt. Fun, fun, fun.

The air was nice and clean after the overnight thunderstorms, and the trail held up well. We had a very strong breeze that either helped us along from behind or cooled us off as we faced into it.

It was nice to have Lyn on a hike. She was out for a few months with plantar fasciitis.

A group of us went to Panera for a light meal before heading on our separate ways. . . . It's one of David's favorite places to stop after a hike. ~. Joyce
