We were sooooo lucky this morning! What looked to be a rainy morning improved overnight, so that we were able to get in the entire hike before light sprinkles began just as we stepped into the parking lot. There was a nice breeze that was caught from time to time to cool us on this rather warm morning.

Mahsheed raced first to the top of the warm-up hill. She had a couple of challengers, but she came through at the final ascent.

We welcomed Terri to the Thursday morning hike. She's about to retire, and she plans to become a regular soon.

Belinda's sharp eyes caught deer twice along the trail! What beautiful crreatures they are (albeit pests when they're eating your flowers and vegetables).

The renegades did an early hike and showed up at the North River Tavern while our group was eating. How nice to be able to talk with Steve F., Larry S., Dan R., Dan C., and Mikey! (I miss you guys!)
