yep...a lot to say about the Urban Bikepacking trip we had this week! But I think the phrase I learned in the US Marines came into play quite a bit! Improvise, Adapt, Overcome would sum it up. Last minute bike swap, lotsa weight, losta miles, rain, full moon, methy & trashy Camp Comet, Hipcamp saved the day, cold, hot, coffee breaks, lunch breaks (TDT BBQ & good ole Firehouse)...oh and some adult beverage at The Rail too. No mechanicals, flawless handling, epic scenery and always a great time (even on some of the steepest climbs).
