What a lovely day for a hike at Island Ford!  We are adding "regulars" all the time.  It was great to see that Marilyn (with Boomer) and Staci have returned to the Thursday morning group enough times that we no longer consider them newbies to the group. In fact, Staci was first up the warm-up hill today!  (David W. is in Croatia, so that opened up possibilities for others to try for the win!)

We could tell that our cool weather is coming to an end, though we did have a delightful breeze that kept us rather comfortable.  

It was nice that the renegades returned to their 10:30 am start time, which meant that we had a chance to see them once or twice while we hiked.  Dan R., Dan C., Larry, Mikey, Barry, and Tod, a new renegade, were out this morning.

A group of us went to Samad Mediterranean Grill after the hike to enjoy some really great food.  That place has really iimproved over the last year or so.  Sadly, Chris is no longer the manager at the North River Tavern, so our allegiance to that place is no more.
