Write Up:
Many people bailed I guess due to the rain threat.  I guess we did get a few sprinkles, but none of us got wet during the hike.  It was rather cool in the morning, but I was glad that I was wearing a short-sleeved shirt by the time we got half way up Big Kennesaw.  At Burnt Hickory, all but one wanted to hike an extension loop so we proceeded.  Soon after we started the sprinkles came, but we pressed on.  Soon we were on the way back and met up at the visitor's center just prior to the reenactors shooting off the cannon out front.  Great group this morning!
