It was a perfect day to walk into the well maintained trail at Red Top and hike.

Not too sunny which kept us cool and beauftil views of Lake Allaoona on the Hoestead Trail.

We stayed together at about the same pace with three brief stops to hydrate.

We finsihed up in good time and then some headed out to Sweet Market for an early lunch in Downtown Carterville.
