Today was a special day for Lauri - - her 100th AOC event! She was very happy to have achieved this milestone and has been diligently planning for it to happen today.

The hike was a good one. We clocked in almost 5.5 miles in 2 hours 15 minutes and celebrated with food bars (brought by Lauri) and icy popsicles.

There was friendly conversation throughout the hike, even on that long ascent on that middle trail. That indicated to me that we had a very fit group who could walk and talk at the same time!

Congratulations, Lauri. Now, you can rest easy for a year or so. ~ Joyce
