Write Up:
What a great Spring day for a hike around Stone Mtn. The group met at 6 PM in the parking area near the walk-up trail. With a few minutes delay, we took off circling the mountain clock-wise. The trail was not too crowded and we managed to catch the last few sun rays of the day while resting on Stone Mountain's south slope. After returning to the parking lot shortly after 8 PM, most folks joined us at the German restaurant in Stone Mountain village for a refreshing beverage and some hardy calorie-rich dinner. What a great way of wrapping up Thursday evening! Thanks y'all!
