Another wonderful adventure with the AOC! I got the pleasure of introducing folks that participated in my Climbing/Belaying/Rappelling "learn" event to a 75' undercut cliff at Allenbrook yesterday! Ideal conditions to show them all the benefits of rappelling with and without a prusik or autoblock vs just an ATC. Of course the new rappers used an autoblock and I was on a firemans belay (for an extra layer of safety, but every able body got a chance to step off the top of Allenbrook...not to mention getting a 7.4 mile hike in 2hours of moving time, burning over 1,400 calories just before the Turkey Day festivities and family! It was a AWESOME day...thanks for joining me and the reunion with DIRTY GIRL was a special highlight of my day!
