It was really great to be back with my Thursday morning group today. No newbies today, though it was my first time to meet Jodi, who had hiked a few times when I was out with my broken wrists. And it was great to have George back where he belongs - - with US! Though a veteran AOC hiker, it was Jeffrey's first time to be with our Thursday group, and he brought along Sophie, also a veteran hiker! Sophie pulled Jeffrey up the hills and along the trails . . . a true Alpha dog, and a strong one. By the way, Sophie was not surprisingly first up the warm-up hill today.

Many thanks for Lee for all of his photos, and to Gerrilyn and Russ, each who added photos of the heron we saw in the river.

I have to admit to smiling as I edited this album. I really love hiking with all of you!
