Write Up:
We had the prettiest day of the year! Temperature varied from 71 to 73 degrees. Very light wind. Friendly people; all experienced paddlers with good boats. Janina plans to become a trip leader so she can lead more paddles. She is also an ACA certified kayak instructor. We paddled 45 minutes longer than planned because the lake and scenery was so gorgeous. We stopped for lunch at the Marina which was closing for the season after today. Only thing we missed was the Ospreys were on vacation and not in their nest which is on a tall bare tree in the middle of the lake. In August we did observe the chicks which was fun.
