Write Up:
This was a great evening for a hike over Kennesaw.  The air was a tad humid, but the temperature was perfect.  Everyone in the group was familiar with the trail, so we spread out a bit on the initial ascent and hiked at our own pace.  From the summit we could see some haze in the air, but had great long distance visibility, and with the sun low in the sky, the views were beautiful.  We collected the group at Burnt Hickory Road parking area, and after a short break, headed back over the mountains.  On the way back over we stayed much more clustered together as everyone was just enjoying the evening and the company.  As always, a great big THANKS to Danny for leading so many Kennesaw hikes.  This was another good one. - Warren Bare (Co-lead)
