We had as perfect of a day for hiking as one could ask for. We did the lower loop and it spur than hiked to the river turned around and came back the way we came. it and returned to the parking lot. We saw a Blue Heron. The amazing thing about todays’ hike was that my Samsung phone using Samsung Health and Gerrilyn’s iPhone using All Trails, both gave a final distance of 5.00 miles, the stated distance, and we ended exactly at the stated time.
