Happy February!
We had a fantastic hike today in gorgeous weather! The jackets came off rather quickly, so that soon we were in short sleeve and even sleeveless (Kian, of course).

There was no contest up the warmup hill today. Russ and Laurie immediately took the lead and kept it all the way to the top. The rest of us were happy just to get to the top!

We welcomed John C. to the AOC for just his second event. He's Elizabeth's brother, and he fit in beautifully with the group, both in fitness and in sociability.

Lee took some excellent photos that are included in the album! (They're always so much clearer than mine.) The last photo in the album (Kian and Steve) is really terrific.

According to Lee's AllTrails tracking, we covered 5.9 miles today - - a fast hike considering that we took several water breaks. ~ Joyce
