A day to celebrate! Today was Barbara S.'s 500th AOC event! That's a big one! We were lucky with the weather, the drizzle stopping before our hike, so that we had just overcast skies to deal with. The gloom of the skies was hardly noticed by our cheerful group.

Mike stopped the group a couple of times to talk about Camp Brumby and the old Salem Church trail, but other than those stops and a couple of water breaks, we kept up a steady pace around the mountain and up Pigeon Hill, getting in 5.8 miles for today's hike.

We were happy to welcome back Regina and Debbie, both ladies who have been away from hiking with the AOC for a while.
