Some dark, angry skies throughout the day made it questionable whether we would get this in, but the sun came out late in the afternoon and it was a go.  We had a good bit of sun to start out..then the clouds came back but still some nice views (see pics).   The clouds obscured a proper sunset, but that will of course just give us a convenient excuse to return to do this hike again soon.   We did find an even better sunset viewing spot...it will come in handy next time.  But it was a really cool evening out...temps in mid 60s and breezy...can't ask for much better in mid April for those climbs.
