Write Up:
It did turn out to be a good strategy to start this one later and beat the heat the midday highs being in the mid 80s.  But by the time we hit the trail at about 7:15, the sun had dropped and we were in the shade and it had cooled a bit...still humid but much more comfortable.   We ended up hiking 3.9 miles in about 80 min...took a couple of side trails...one involved some puddle jumping that was the adventurous part of this event.
