The morning was great for our hike, but I have to say that Gold Branch has become a super-technical trail because of all the protruding roots and rocks. Folks have to keep their eyes on the trail to prevent slipping, tripping, and falling.

It was great to see Mark B. after over a year, and to have Gerrilyn safely back from Australia. And Barbara's new Hokas are a sight to see.
