Someone lit a match under us this morning. I guess the cool, dry air made conditions perfect for a fast pace, and my GPS clocked in 6.3 miles in 2 hours plus 5 minutes. The group kept up just fine! Maybe a motivator was having Elaine's son, Ben (24 years old) with us for his first AOC event, so pressure was on to show him that we older folks could still move. He did admit to being impressed, and felt "humbled" to be with us. What a nice kid!
