Smeartastic day at Currahee. We had a beautiful sunny day with temps getting on the hotter side with no wind really on the main wall. This venue was quite different than the climbing at Sandrock with much of the routs not as steep but the focus on balance and traction primarily important. We setup three ropes on the main wall and worked those for most of the day. A group of us wanted to explore the Brick Wall area while we were there and hiked down to setup and run No Name Crack which sapped out the last bit of our energy. We all agreed that next time we return we should do these areas in reverse to take advantage of the shade.
