Write Up:
Three accidents on I-75 northbound made getting to the event on time via I-75 impossible.  We waited until 6:15 then decided to get underway.  It was raining a bit when we first got underway, but then it cleared up nicely for the rest of the hike.  It was slippery and more dangerous than normal, but we still made it over to Burnt Hickory in less than an hour.  After a short break we headed back.  Nice breezes met us at the tops, but it was a humid walk most of the time.

Sorry to those that couldn't make it because it was a nice hike in the end.
