Write Up:
The morning on Saturday was very cloudy and rainy, when I got to the parking & Ride, the rain had stopped but it was cloudy and dark, Ive started to see familiar faces coming to the parking lot around 7:45 am it turned out SOA and ATC was having a hike, But soon after 7:45 AOC members started showing up along with some of the ASH members. 9 out of 10 people who signed up for AOC showed up, along with 5 ASH members. We separated into 4 cars and we started driving up toward Tallulah. When we got to the Interpretive center at Tallulah Gorge State Park, there was another ASH member waiting for us, making total of 15 in our group, we all individually got permits to go hike the Stoneplace Trail, and took a group shot . We decided to go see the gorge first since some of us havent see it yet, but we couldnt see much since it was foggy down in the gorge. As we started hiking the trail, the sky completely cleared up, and got warmer. Turned out to be a beautiful day to hike, we had lunch at Lake Tugaloo. After we finished hiking, some wanted to go down to the swinging bridge and back, by then the gorge was cleared up, and we were able to see the magnificent beauty of the gorge. After wards, we had dinner at Bahama Breeze off Pleasant Hill Rd. It was a fun filled day. Looking forward to the next one.
