We had a fine group to hike with this morning, with Ann joining us as a co-lead! We met up with the Renegades three times - - before they started hiking, on the trail, and finally at the upper lot. It's always great to meet with them and grab a bunch of hugs.

The weather couldn't have been better. Cool for this time of year and a refreshing breeze that followed us throughout the park.

Sadly, there was a very friendly, stray dog that the park rangers tried to keep at the Visitor Center for a while, but it decided to follow a runner back into the park and eventually had to be picked up by Animal Control.
