A most pleasant hike at Olde Rope Mill this morning! We kept a comfortable pace and covered just short of 5 miles in 2 hours. The temperature stayed cool, especially with the cloud cover that kept the sun hidden all morning.

The Explorer Trail is the most moderate of the three trail sections at Olde Rope Mill, and a perfect choice for a hike that offers a nice workout without requiring a recovery nap in the afternoon!

We had a really great group of regulars on the hike (considering that Kailey is about to qualify as a regular now that she has 8 AOC hikes under her boots). ~ Joyce
