8 strong hikers and 1 trail dog completed this tough D6 hike yesterday.  From the climb up Boteler Peak with its awesome view of Lake Chatuge to the endless steep ups and downs along the ridgeline to the AT everyone finished with weary legs and a sense of accomplishment.  Total distance was over 16 miles with about 5000 ft elevation gain.  Thanks again to everyone joining me on the Chunky Gal Trail.
