We thought the snow was done for the season but we had a sunny winter wonderland when we arrived at the trailhead and for a fair portion of the hike.  We were also treated by seeing and chatting with many thru-hikers as March is the busiest month for start dates in Georgia.  Lynn lost her glove but what would be a hike without losing an item with all of the de-layering and re-layering taking place as we started in the twenties but finished in the fifties.  We also celebrated Laura M's 270th event with the club as well as our cars surviving a badly rutted road.
