Well, we had a perfect day for our hike today at Bowmans Island and 12 really great hikers to go with it.  The weather was sunny with temperatures from the 50s to the 60s.  Everyone was warmed up by the time we climbed the first hill. We covered 6.2 miles with just under 500 feet of elevation while averaging 2.7 mph. Everyone was able to maintain pace throughout the hike. Job well done hikers.

I would like to welcome Marnie and Nancy on their 2nd AOC hike, along with Lindsay on her 3rd and Jean on her 8th. I hope to see all of you on another hike soon.

Based on all the talking and laughing I heard behind me, I'm pretty sure everybody had a good time.
