This was supposed to be Dolores's last solo - - her final step to becoming a full-fledged AOC trip leader! As fate would have it, she sprained her ankle - - but hated to cancel the hike, especially with a couple of newbies on it. Since I was already on the hike (to celebrate Dolores's final PTL requirement (or as Dolores would say, her final TNT requirement) she asked me to take over the hike, which I was happy to do.

We had a fine group on this beautiful afternoon, and took advantage of some beautiful cherry trees to take group photos under. We were lucky to have two different strangers offer to take our photos for us!

Welcome to our two brand new AOC members, Steve and Sharon.  It was great getting to talk with you both.

Dolores, good luck with your ankle. I know it was disappointing for you to delay this final PTL requirement. ~ Joyce
