We did introductions in the parking lot. It was a bit chilly as we started, however, once we started hiking it warmed up quickly. We headed for the bridge across Sope Creek, did the one-way trail to the 1840 Paper Mills, stopped to talk about the mills and returned. We stopped briefly at the new Paper Mill adjacent to Paper Mill Road and headed toward the last bit of trail going to Sope Creek to enjoy the view. We than did a clockwise hike of the trail until we reached Sibley Pond, stopped to look for turtles, there were none, did a counterclockwise loop of it and returned to the parking lot.

We want to thank Barbara for joining us on her first hike, David for joining us on his sixth hike, and Laura for joining us on her ninth hike.
