Our second hike of the day at Vickery Creek started at 9:45 am and went a bit late, ending a bit before noon. Due to an error in timing, we got in 5.7 miles instead of 5. It turned out to be the longest hike of the day.

We were very disappointed to see that the Rock Snake has been obliterated. Just a few rocks remain of what was an admirable display of folk art. Sad.

The magnificent 7 hung in there, and looked strong. These 7 planned to hike all 7 events today.
