The day started off rainy but by the time our hike began, the sun was out and the weather was warm and beautiful.

We had a good pace of about 3.3 mph and stopped to view the now full lake as well as the new areas which have been cleared (by control burn, it appears).

We satyed and chattted for a few minutes and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
