We had great weather for a fantastic hike covering all of the corners of the Hyde Farm and Johnson Ferry North unit of CRNRA. We spent time hiking along the Chattahoochee, field walks and woods walks, we visited 2 ponds and had numerous creek crossings of Mulberry Creek. We also threw in a few hills just for fun and visited the former farm of the Power Family (of Power's Ferry fame). As an added bonus, we ran into a park volunteer who lives on the Hyde Farm property who told us a bit about the history of Hyde Farm. Our great group of 15 hikers were able to stay together as we easily covered the 5+ miles of our hike in a little over 2 hours.
