We had a great group of 12 hikers today crossing Blood Mountain twice, and hiking on the Bryan Reece Trail, the AT, the Slaughter Creek Trail, and the Jarrod Gap Trail. We enjoyed beautiful weather, unseasonably cool. The flame azaleas and mountain laurel were on display, and a rooster in the parking lot gave us a great send off. We tested our legs, and the legs won! We'll likely do this one again!
