A fine hike this morning, a little faster than usual. I think it was because I was engaged in conversation and lost track of the pace. However, the group was strong today and kept up the pace well. If there was any whining, I didn't hear it.

It was nice to have both Leigh and Ross together on today's hike!

Dawn had no competition for the top of the warm-up hill this morning. It was very humid, but everyone pushed their way to the top.

We missed passing the Renegades in the Visitor Center lot this morning. We ran into Jeff G. on the lollipop trail, and it turns out the group spent today hiking on Mt. Yonah. Jeff was all alone, so we adopted him for the rest of our hike.

After the hike, seven of us went to lunch at Samad Mediterranean Grill. Always nice to be able to do some extra socializing after a hike.
