Well, the hike was great. We had a sort of surprise centennial celebration for Eva's 1000th AOC event! She jumped on the hike just this morning, so everyone was surprised to be a part of such a grand milestone event! Congratulations, Eva! You're just the 7th person to reach 1000 events in the club!
Others besides myself who have reached a thousand AOC events include Susan F., Charlie, Sue M., Gary, Suzanne, and Ann.

We were very lucky with the rain until less than a half-hour to the end of the hike. That's when the thunder could be heard and the skies opened up. We all got drenched, but it was a relatively short downpour, and it felt rather good on what otherwise would have been a very muggy ending to our hike.
