Sun, Sep 7 2025 - Atlanta/Georgia Film Premiere: Out There: A National Parks Story (View Original Event Details)

Before the film started we discovered a hidden jewel in the Marietta area. The Marietta Performing Arts Center was that jewel. This venue was the place to see the film that was about to be shown. Those that bought the VIP tickets enjoyed the time meeting Brendan and ask him questions in a smaller setting. As for the rest of us, we got to see this film highlighting what makes our National Parks what they are. Those that stayed got to ask him questions got the more of his story. As for me. In my opening remarks before the film I talked about seeing the film at National Parks Friends Alliance Meeting in Yosemite last October. It was at that meeting that the Friends of KMNBP decided to bring the film to Kennesaw. I have had the opportunity of working with Brendan for the last 9 months. Yet only meet him on Sunday morning and then giving him a tour of the park. It was worth very minute of it and there were a whole lot of minutes.
If forgot to thank those that ate at the Melt Yard, thanks for attending that part of the event.
I now have the finial ticket sales numbers. 481 tickets were sold breaking Bredan’s previous highest attendance of just over 440. This could not have been done without the 70 plus of you that bought tickets. He was impressed by how Atlanta supports their parks.
