What a nice send-off hike for me today, my last hike before a vacation. We saaw the Renegades three times during the hike, and we even climbed the warmup hill twice - - once at the beginning of the hike and again at the end. We had some very strong hikers who were even able to run backward up the hill the second time!

The temperature was cooler today, but unless there was a breeze, it got hot! Those breezes were so refreshing when they came - - and sorely missed when they stoppd.

I'm grateful to Drew for leading my Thursday morning hike next week. Folks who don't know him are in for a treat!
