A great walk along the Roswell Boardwalk, with luckily no rain. It was a perfect hike on which to celebrate Gloria's birthday. (Happy Birthday, Gloria.) Shirley and I both had recent birthdays, so it was kind of a celebration for all of us! It was also a hike on which my older sister, Doris, came, so she was able to say hello to friends she had already met, and to meet some new ones!

We were extremely lucky that the rain held back for us this morning. It was a close call, but it worked out just fine.

We were able to see a Great Blue Heron looking for a meal. A beautiful bird!
